Vision

We are a supportive hiking community created by and for people affected by cancer.

Being active after cancer can feel daunting. We "get" it and that's why our walks are about participation, not performance. There is no pressure to be a mountain goat, no expectation to push beyond what feels right, and no judgement.

We believe in the quiet power of putting one foot in front of the other and slowing down to experience the magic in the mountains.

Purpose

Our purpose is simple. To provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming community where people can move, reconnect with nature, enjoy gentle companionship and feel a sense of accomplishment, at their own pace. A good sense of humour and a strong snacks game are also encouraged!

Values

  • Safety: Hikes are lead by experienced guides with a lived experience of cancer.

  • Community: Building a supportive community, where lasting connections and a sense of belonging can grow.

  • Empowerment: Reclaiming strength and confidence after a cancer diagnosis, through movement outdoors.

  • Inclusion: Welcoming anyone affected by cancer, of any age and any level of hiking experience.

  • Strong Snacks: Because no one heals, hikes or copes well while hangry!

A Safe Place to Move

Safety is at the heart of everything we do.

Our walks are led by experienced guides with lived experience of a cancer diagnosis. We understand the needs of cancer survivors and prioritise care, awareness, and support.

Our hikes are not about personal bests, speed, or summit times. They’re about breathing deeply again, trusting our bodies, sharing stories, enjoying quiet moments and finding strength in fresh air and friendship.

Above all, we aim to create a sense of belonging.

Whether you come for the movement, the mountains, the snacks, or the shared understanding, this is a space where recovery is honoured, stories are respected, and no one has to walk alone.

All Levels Welcome!
