Wear your finest pink and come join us on Spinc Mountain to mark “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” and raise money for Breast Cancer Ireland. Walk duration approx. 3-4hr (approx. 10km) Grade = Moderate (Elevation = 450m) Let’s turn the Spinc pink as we collectively tell breast cancer to take a hike!

About the event
In honour of breast cancer awareness month, wear your finest pink and come join us as we hike the glaciated valley of Glendalough and raise money for Breast Cancer Ireland.
The word Glendalough comes from the Irish “Gleann Dá Loch” which translates to the “Valley of the Two Lakes”, carved out by glaciers during the Ice Age. This area is filled with spectacular natural beauty - waterfalls, massive cliff faces, scenic ribbon lakes and calming woodlands. In addition to the natural beauty of the valley, Glendalough is also known as the home of a monastic settlement founded by the hermit St. Kevin in the 6th century. This monastic settlement includes an iconic round tower.
We will start from the Upper Lake Carpark. Note: there is a charge of €5 per car to park in the Upper Lake Carpark.
