About the event
This hike takes us to Munster to enjoy stunning cliff views. The Atlantic coast is renowned as being one of the most scenic coast lines in the world!
Starting at Diamond Rocks Café, we will set off along the Kilkee Cliff Walk, with the sound of the Atlantic crashing against the cliffs. The trail hugs the edge of the coastline, in a sweeping out-and-back route. Along the route we will pass rugged rock shelves, sea carved ledges and craggy drops, all the while listening to the waves crashing below.
This relatively easy out and back hike with no mountains to climb, approximately 12km long. We will take our time, leaving plenty of space to stop, breathe, and take it all in (and enjoy a snack or two!). We will pass landmarks such as Bishop’s Island, St Kee’s Well and the ruins of Dunlicky Castle, surrounded by wide-open coastal panoramas along this dramatic…
